About

Thank you for stopping by my site while you are here I hope that it could be of some use to you. I made this handyman site of home improvement tips along with common maintenance practices for the average Joe that does not have much “handyman” experience. That is why I am here to show you how I myself would go about fixing a certain problem.

You may have a clogged garbage disposal and you have no idea how to fix it. Something that someone at any skill level of fixing stuff could accomplish in less than a minute could save them a service call, more importantly money out of their pocket because they chose to fix a problem by themselves.

Many people want to know how to unclog toilets – if you have had plumbing problems before that you were not able to fix and had to have them dealt with by a plumber than you know how expensive that can be. Anything that has to do with air conditioning and heating can cost you big time also when it comes to air conditioning service calls, even if there is absolutely nothing wrong with your HVAC system in the first place.

There are so many things that could go wrong if you are a home owner, and the answer to fixing them without breaking your budget or getting in to debt is to do it yourself. Now I understand that some of the tutorials on how to fix stuff will not be for the average or the beginner to perform.

That is why every single how to video that is displayed here will have a rating of difficulty level, and this should be considered important due to fixing stuff around the house can be very dangerous if you do not understand what it is you are doing.

That it is important to understand that you should not try and fix some shit that you are not comfortable doing. Many of these videos that you see here that will be explaining how to fix something will require a certain skill level to be able to try and complete. I do my best to teach people how to fix stuff and become a handyman around the house but what you see is me and how I do things.

Just because you seeing me do something does not necessarily mean that it is the most safest or reliable way to fix something. What I do is best for me, it may not be best for you, use my advice as a guideline and not a full-proof, idiot-proof or anything-proof for fixing, installing or troubleshooting anything.

If you follow me and listen to what I am teaching then you will become a more efficient handyman or better yet what I like to call it is a jack of all trades. If you disagree with something that I teach on here then speak up – but if you are wrong and I prove you wrong I am going to give you hell and be up your ass so be careful if you try and correct me. I will admit if I am wrong though – but unlike many other blogs that are on the internet that teach you how to fix stuff around the house, is that this blog is controlled by me and I actually do the shit I teach on here for a living.

I fix shit every single day. There are not many days out of the week that pass where I do not use a screwdriver or a power drill. 40 hours a week I am doing service calls that cover something that needs maintenance. I service plumbing, hvac, painting, electrical, appliances, plus grief and hell from the customers when I am fixing stuff for them almost every day!

So think about that before you jump on the nuts of some handyman wanna be video blogger or some popular handyman site that allows amateurs and “guest bloggers” to successfully tell you how to fix something by yourself.

With all of that said I have been in the Jack of all trades thing my entire life. When I was twelve years old I was helping my dad install shingles on the roof, at 14 I was helping hang drywall for some of our family’s houses.

I have 10 years of experience from working on auxiliary equipment found aboard Navy ships. Everything from ship electrical, firefighting equipment, hydraulics systems steam engines, boilers, freshwater plants and much more. After 10 years of being a machinist mate in the United States navy I started a job as a maintenance man for an apartment complex and have been there for way to long.

From this point on after I type this I will be posting videos on how to become a handyman walking you through all of the situations that I encounter day in and day out. I am sure that you will find these how to and home improvement tips and tutorials very helpful.
